I thought I would write an install guide for SMF for anyone looking to install SMF 2.1 from GitHub. I must say though, while SMF 2.1 is in great shape with very few bugs, it should not be used for a live site unless you really know what you are doing. It's great for testing though and checkin out the new features. RC3 will be the next release. Okay, so on to the install guide.
