Trying to upgrade 2.0.17 to 2.0.18 using the large upgrade package.
I've uploaded the new files and run upgrade.php

It asks me for my admin credentials - and I used my usual admin username and password I use when logging into the forum.  It wouldn't let me in.

So I followed the instructions and edited upgrade php to  "$disable_security = 1;"

Running the upgrade we now seem to be stuck here:

Help please ?!
Please do not PM me with questions on astrophysics or theology.  You will get better and faster responses by asking homeless people in the street. Thank you.

Hmm it just occurred to me that there are a lot of attachments so maybe I just need to walk away and wait for a while.

You're already at 2.0.18 as far as I can tell, or you were a few minutes ago.  Now in maint mode I obviously can't see it.

LandyVlad

That was when I'd uploaded the new files but not upgraded.

I'm still sitting as per above -

and I set maintenance mode in settings php from, 2 to 1 so I could go in. Entering any board I get this
QuoteAn Error Has Occurred!

Call to undefined function template_filterPrefix()

Please help !

Right - I'm off to bed !

I see a couple of issues, likes stats button has stolen the home button position.

And the Random Gallery Images is throwing a error and breaking the theme and stopping other stuff showing on home page. I would turn it off until fixed. ;)

I see other issues... Look at the date of the SMF copyright version in the footer...2016???  Should be 2021 for SMF 2.0.18!

Maybe you tried to install the wrong upgrade version? OR had other issues you were unaware of before the install?

Language files out of date perhaps.

Looks like some of the language files are a few years out, like this one 'index.english_british-utf8'

The only person who got all his work done by Friday was Robinson Crusoe

Copyright date / language files:  I uploaded all new files so I would have thought that would be included?
How would I fix that - which files need updating?
(presumably none of those files would be changed by mods - or would they?)

Yeah I just assumed that was normal behaviour? Where is it supposed to be?

I installed the Gallery SSI, reactivated and that's now fixed.

Yep, english_british-utf8 has the wrong copyright date.  While english.utf8 has the correct date.  Forum has english_british.utf8 set as default.

Well I would think the stats button should be further down the pecking order, with Home in first place followed by forum.

Yep, looks good npw.
