I've been trying (in vain) to get an RC1 theme to look like certain 2.0.15 themes. I still have not solved it yet but have thought of a great way to help align things. My problem is trying to get the categories sections (.boardicon, .lastpost, postinfo, etc.) to display a border around them and with a small bit of space between them like the themes which I will be updating for 2.1 here:

When I get it to look like that, especially if I change the height of the ".up_contain", or any of the sections, it throws off the centering of the text like this, especially the "Redirects: 0" part:

So, I've come up with this way of adding colored borders to help make it easier to see what's going on:

I  still keep running in to that same problem with centering the text vertically but it helps me to see what else is moving more easily whenever I make a change. I'm not sure if it's me or the way 2.1 is coded.

Would also be nice if there was a tool or feature to easily add borders in smf. :)

That's very cool what you have done there with the borders.
