My forum stumpburner.com/forum

I send a news letter out too all my members, and I get it back with this.

Message rejected. See https://support.google.com/mail/answer/69585 for more information.
They don't tell you any thing at all about it

All the rejected mail has attachments on them. How can that happen? And how do I fix it?  :dontknow

Bigguy

What settings are you using to send out mail. :ques

I'm going to admin/News and Newsletters/news letter and then send the letter out to all my members and I get them all back in my personal mail, where they were block because they have span attached to all the letters.  :dontknow

Bigguy

Are you using phpmail or stmp settings.

   I don't know   :dontknow

I am thinking now it is phpmail. Under Maintenance---->Mail---->Settings. What does it say. If it says (Php default) and no mail is being sent I would check your server settings.

He is using his own personal email account, it's a yahoo.com account..

Bigguy

If he is using that with SMF than he has to have smtp settings correct, not only in SMF but on his host as well.

The email address that he uses has been blacklisted or blocked by some services for some reason. It is a Yahoo email addy so I told him to contact them and see if they can help somehow. I've also told him to either create a new email account using cpanel OR create a new one using Yahoo or Gmail.

Creating a new address using Yahoo or Gmail would be the easiest way...

I don't want to hack his thread here, but I had basically the same thing, I went with gmail this time, seems to be ok..

I can create another email. I don't know how to tie it to my forum  :dontknow

Bigguy

I think you can change it in server settings in the admin panel.
