One of the easiest tweaks for a computer is adjusting your page file. The page file is basically some space on the hard drive set aside for your computer to use as ram memory. So the page file should be 1.5x more than what physical ram you have installed. So if you have 5gb of memory installed your page file should be saying 7.5gb.
