Yeah, it's possible. I would read it and see what happens. Kindred's answer would probably do it but, also the op found the table in his last post. So, there's that.

is_solved is not anywhere to be found, the error is in the sources/subs-post.php, yet when I search is_solved is not in there.

SychO

how many smf installations do you have ?

Ronald

Quote from: SychO on Apr 24, 2019, 05:20 PMhow many smf installations do you have ?

From what I can see he has 10 installations. One I did for him a beta3 test board. I don't think he uses them..not that I know off..

SychO

10 ?? then my guess would be you're either looking at the wrong database, or the wrong table (each installation should have a unique prefix if they exist on the same database(ie it could be {something}_topics)) or both

Thanks for the kick Sych0, dammit wrong database..Tried them all until I found my name in the one I wanted. Checked smf_topics and there it was just staring at me. I clicked change and set it to NULL.

Went back to the board and made a post..

Geoff you can mark this solved now..

Thanks guy's for all the help..

This is not solved. PM from beast yesterday on my forum:

That is what I get when I tried to add another board. I don't know what is going on
You need to do as I've suggested earlier to get rid of the db upgrade error first. This is something that Unknown told me many years ago and has always worked. After doing this, it will either fully fix the problem or at least get rid of the db upgrade error so you can fix the mod's error...depending on how the mod is coded. Some older mods will check for the db's smf's version number and that is what's causing some or all of the problem. This is a very old smf issue.

Quote from: Skhilled on Apr 24, 2019, 08:46 AMI've always suggested that when you see that upgrade error message that you should upload all of the upgrade.*** files from the latest upgrade package and run: https://your_forum.com/upgrade.php. However, SMF has had issues with the upgrade working properly for the past couple of years and won't fix it saying it is not needed to be fixed although it does not work! It used to work for many years then they stopped fixing it so it would work.

If I remember correctly, the latest version, 2.0.15, does work finally. So, unzip the "upgrade" package of SMF 2.0.15 and only upload the "upgrade.***" files to the root folder and run it. Hopefully it will fix it or get you to a point where you can fix it.

OK, changed the icon on this one as well. :)

I don't know how or why I got involved doing this for beast. You use to do all his work, and you stopped, then he came after me to help him out..

Trouble with him it takes two days for him to get back to you when you contact him..

I took out some of his mod.'s he had installed, I asked him to remove the others, and told him they all had errors, stop spam forum had about 12 or more errors plus the other mod.'s all had more than one one error..

Within one hour he sent me a pm they were all removed, yea probably just removed them errors and all..

It all started with is_solved error with we took care of..

I'll run the upgrade for him, and try to fix the forum, do all the mod.'s need to be removed again.

Ronald

Checked the language files. index.english.php was already //Version 2.0.15 (made no changes)

ManagePaid.english.php was 2.0.10 I change to //Version 2.0

If your upgrading or overwriting the files then yes.

Ran the upgrade.php with no problems at all.

Put some of the mod.'s back in installed one more theme skin.

Left out Stop Spam Forum, it has 13 errors in it when installing or removing it..Do not know why the developer doesn't keep the mod up to date.

Been checking the logs, off and on now for two hours and still no errors on the board..

Ronald

I did find one problem. When I click on in a post to "Quote" it opens to "Quick Reply"

Any thoughts on this.
