I would like to delete a membergroup.

The MemberGroup is New Members, there is no way of controlling post moderation. I've had a two or three spammers get in and spam the forum..

I would like to delete this group, and make my own New Member Group, then I can control the post moderation.

If you're referring to "Newbie", you can't delete it. I'm also not sure what you mean by "there is no way of controlling post moderation".

I found that out. I thought I could just delete the group from myphpadmin, but was chicken to try ir.

I did find a section where I did set New Member Group to post moderation, post has to be approved. I think I have it correct, not sure.

How would you work this group for post moderation.

First you need to enable the option to enable permissions for post-count-based groups (Admin -> Members -> Permissions -> Settings).

Once you've done that, you'll see that group listed in the "Post Moderation" section of the admin center.

New members is what it is - it's a default and can't be deleted. (as far as I know)

You could set up post count based membergroups, and set it so anyone with 0 posts has to have their 1st post manually approved.

Here is how I have mine set up:

OK done that, is there a way to set this for say 2 or 3 posts then move on to a new group.

Ronald

OK I think I got it correct now.

Thanks for the help.
