What bugs me is when you start a post the cursor immediately goes to the subject instead of the body. It should be a "top-down" roach...the opposite...

Dave

Maybe that's because you need a subject in order to post so it goes there first

just sayin'

LOL Maybe I'm just used to the previous versions.

TBH I'd never even noticed.

Maybe you could change the focus of the cursor. I think that's what it's called.

I wish once you have read or commented on a post, SMF would bring you back to the last post you have read or the very last post within the discussion - instead of going to the opening of it.

That said, I do like how SMF has progressed since I last properly used it.

Didn't think of that, thanks! :)

I have a new bug bear [don't take me seriously, it's a very minor thing - SMF is awesome].

When browsing a board, I hate that it tells me who started a post rather than who last posted. I mean, I'm splitting hairs here, but I just feel like I'm missing out on who's discussing what. Rather than who started discussing it.

Bigguy

There should be a place to change that in the admin center....or is that to change to most recent post at top. If it is that might do what you want, not sure.

OK, I just started to make a topic here and immediately started typing just before it actually finished loading. What happened was the title of the topic put the first letter in the title and the rest in the body?!?!?!

Something is making it change from the title to the body when you first start typing...

It put the B in the title and the rest in the body. I should've taken a screenie of it. :P

This might have something to do with it.

One thing that did catch my eye last yesterday while I was editing the sceditor file is the last date in the copyright is 2013??   Seriously???

And SMF still uses this? Also, I just noticed that (at least on this site with the default smileys) if you try to use 3 question marks in a row you'll have problems trying to type something after it cause one of the text for the smileys has always been the same...3 question marks. Try typing a question followed by 3 question marks then type a space then start typing again. LOL

From the default theme's 'jquery.sceditor.default.css:

/*! SCEditor | (C) 2011-2013, Sam Clarke | sceditor.com/license */
I went to the 'sceditor.com/license' site and they have a 2017 version??? That's still a huge security issue!
