It's the end of an era. if you can remember when it began, than you have been around the net a long time, lol. they finally ended it:

We used netscape during the browser wars, I only used IE after netscape stopped creating new browsers.
No YouTube to watch I use to use MSN, ICQ and play a lot of Quake Team Fortress. If I didn't download demos or other software we would be under our 3GB limit, once we went over and got a nice $70 added to our bill.

Our old plan was the 3GB from Telstra costing a nice $87, they use to cap your speed and charge you extra :)

I stopped using IE around the time Firefox was starting to make a buzz in the industry and never looked back. I eventually moved on to Chrome but went back to Firefox on desktop a while back because Chrome kept freezing things. I still use Chrome on my phone though.

I started surfing the net before there were browsers. LMAO Back then you dialed into someone's PC that they had their site setup on it and you incurred long distance phone charges according to where they were located. Back then, I learned you could download games for free this way and would do it along with learning how to use the internet.

I remember the "wars". LOL I used to LOVE Netscape and almost cried when they killed it. :( ICQ was also one of my fav programs to use and I still have a lot of the old original Quake, Doom, Counter Strike, Wolfenstein, etc. games on floppies or CD's in my attic and still play them once in awhile. I still have DOS 3.0 and the individual MS Office components before there was an office. I used to be a beta tester for them as well as the games I've mentioned and others. I was a huge gamer back then and at 60 years ago I still game and have tons of them. I just don't have the time to play them like I used to but still collect a lot of them.

Me too and do not like Bing! The only time I use Chrome is when I'm updating themes for compatibility or if I think I'm having a problem with a FF addon. I just don't like MS or Google's privacy practices.

I have dos on floppy around here to somewhere.....and some of those old games you mentioned. What a ride the net has been, lol.
