I got the upgrade down with the great help of Geoff (bigguy).

Now I have a few questions on fixing 2.1.

1. How to you make the default skin a little narrower.

2. The smileys are all screwed up, do I need to reinstall them.

3. More to come.

Bigguy

1.) At the top of the css (index.css) there should be a setting.

2.) What do you mean.

3.) OK. :)

Question how do I make the posting box larger.

Bigguy

You mean the editor box or the post box. (post box is after you submit your post.)

Post box. This one right here that we are posting in.

In your css you will find .post Under that heading you can make the padding bigger. Experiment a bit and you will figure it out. I had to make this one bigger as it looked like crap. My padding looks like this:

padding: 1px 0 100px;
100px being the size from top to bottom. Hope this helps.

Nope doesn't help much, got any code I can see, then I know what I'm looking for.

Search for:

.post

in your index.css. You will find the code. :)
