A member tried to log into my forum https://gsx1400owners.org/forum

She pressed log in at the top left hand side (this is before entering any details etc) and immediately an error box popped up with a single word in it 'error'.

She's tried from mobile and a PC same issue.  Very odd.

I tried logging out and in again - no issues.

Wondering if anyone else has come across this issue before and how to fix it.

Can't say I've seen anything like that. I have one member who cannot log in on his moblie as he used to be able to, I don't have any IPs blocked so why that's happening I don't know.

I see that a lot...

In my test environments.  I do a lot of installs & upgrades & restores, etc., when testing.

It usually means folders are out of sync, e.g., www vs non-www, http vs https, etc.  Which could also mean the lack of a proper redirect - even if your folders are OK, the user might type the URL in incorrectly.

Yes i think it's a redirect issue. Where would i best sort that out?

In your cPanel's redirect options. Might also want to ask the user to clear her browser's cache and see if that helps.
