I  forgot to mention the DuckDuckGo's browser is great for watching YouTube vids without ads. ;) Just use the Duck Player.

Also for DDG, if you enable "App Tracking Protection" it will help not only help to block tracking in apps but it will also add a notification icon that will tell you how many apps were blocked. It will do this even if you are not running DDG. This only works for mobile devices.

I don't use my phone as a ....well, anything but a phone. I don't even think I've been to this site on a phone, lol. I will check out the settings though. So far it seems like a good browser tbh.  :2cts

I don't use mine much either except for checking texts and emails. I also use it to test themes. But, I LOVE my tablet. LOL

Bigguy

Tablets aren't to bad. I could handle them if ya could customize it...Like more ram and shit, lol.

Personally, I like the size. They are easier to press keys, etc. than phones. I also have a big recipe book collection and they are easier to read on it. The Kindle for PC is a bit slow cause it always keeps trying to sync and I just like the mobile version better.

Ya got a recipe for "Beer can burgers". If not, you should get one. That shit is good.  :ys

I've heard of them but never tried them.

I have premier issues of most of the major magazines and tons of others on book shelves. LOL I've got recipes from around the world, literally. LOL

You would have a good talk with @pwillie he loves cookin as well. I used to love it but workin in a restaurant for 16 or so years kinda kills that, lol.

My grandmother started me baking with her when I was 5 years old. That was over 60 years ago and I've never stopped cooking and baking. Now, I cook a lot more than I bake.

My oldest grandson is 6 but I started teaching him baking when he was 4 and he loves it. :)

Bigguy

That is awesome you get to spend that time with your grandson and teach him what he needs to know. Good to hear he loves it.

My mother and grandmother told me that I shouldn't need a woman for anything but "the obvious"...their words! :rflmao So, I learned how to cook, bake, clean, sew, and do my own laundry so that I could help take care of my younger siblings cause I was the oldest and my dad wasn't around. I had to be "the man of the house" on many levels while my Mom went to work. But, I'm very grateful that they did teach me those things, especially cooking.  ;D

And, I'm in my 60's and still do them.  ;D

If you need a recipe for anything, just ask. I'm a member at most of the major cooking sites as well. ;)
