Not a big fan of having to replace the whole module and not being able to just add another 16GB or 32GB when needed.
I also can't afford to pay $400 for 32Gb right now, but hopefully when I need an upgrade RAM drops back to a normal price.

I hope they lower it, once the demand drops they will have saturated the market.
New generations will be playing outside like I use to, I think the new consoles have been delayed another 3 years. Phones will be more expensive so people will wait a lot longer to upgrade.

It will be interesting Windows 11 needs a minimum of 16gb to run smoothly. In Australia that is $200 - $250 just for the ram, not sure how many new laptops/computers will be sold in the next 2 - 3 years.

Once A.I is done with it the price will come down. Maybe that's why this new ram is comin out. I don't know.

All new tech will be over-priced, at first. Eventually, it will come down after it becomes mainstream.

Personally, I almost never buy the newest things. I'll let others be the guinea pigs first and will also wait for the prices to drop. I don't NEED the newest and latest things, unless it's going to make me money. LOL

New Hardware was inevitable but tech changes so Fast these days if you don't do string Theory computations some of it is way overkill for me . Heck I don't even own any Computer Games, Consoles, interactive Virtual visors TV stuff nor even ear pods .....lol

We have Nanos that do stuff and learn as they go . Human Cells on chips . It took many MILLIONS of years to get the Telegraph
Just in the last 200 we are light years ahead.
We have gone from From  Horse Drawn Buggies to Supersonic Aircraft . Why did we just sit around and whittle for so long .
 It is Freaking amazing what has transpired and what is in the works. With the invention of the 3D Printer Replicators like on Star Trek may not be far off. Smaller than an Atom vehicles like on the Movie Fantastic Voyage may be a  Reality cruising through your Veins knocking out Blood Clots and Cancer Cells.
  Many different races,religions,governments,and sexes,and idealists can live together hundreds of miles above the planet without problems but here on Earth in a blink of an eye we can easily Annihilate THE ENTIRE PLANET and what if ANY Survives will be back living in Caves .     
 We as a society today waste so much in our daily routines that someday we will HAVE to be digging up land fills, Dredging rivers,lakes,oceans,and Space for raw materials to make anything . Those old scrap piles and waste dumps will be the New Billionaires GOLD .
  I think we probably were visited by some xtra terestials several hundred years ago since we had so much progress in such a short time compared to the estimated millions of years Upright humanoids have been suppose to have walked on Earth .
