Browsing through the article there are SOME proposed fixes however I have NO CLUE ow many or IF any of my stuff will be affected . I DONT LIKE THIS at all as I run NEANDERTHAL Computers ,Software ,OS systems and hardware and they all WORK ABSOLUTELY FINE with the exception of my Tweaked Widoze Vista that won't allow me to visit a lot of sites these days and I am looking into that . The fact that you might lose the ability to even start your computer is Maniacal. Older confusers would go nutso if the onboard battery died but you COULD
 Boot Up resetting bios and install new Battery or NEVER TURN IT OFF(might be an option for upcoming Event ?)
 Why could you not edit the Registry like we use to do to
 May just Dig out the ol Linux Computer . I don't Care at all for Mac stuff . But may BE FORCED to use it before I buy ANY MORE

Read the info on page in the link. It explains that you need to upgrade the certificates so they work. The second link takes you to a page where you can download the 2023 certificates. Download them and install and you wont have any issues as far as I can see

Yes I saw that plus also saw where a few had problems when they installed . Gonna dig some more before I install anyting from Micro Squash especially on my old Dinosaurs . Thanks for looking into it .

  Thats the whole Deal . IF it happens to your Confuzer you won't be able to start up .
  You SHOULD HOWEVER  I would Think be able to boot to SAFE MODE  then do a system restore(if you have it activated !!!) and while in there reset time and date to a moth or so before ,then install the files .
  When I get time I think I will install the fixes,bios,updates, motherboard certs etc on one of my sacrificial boxes  and see what happens. Also this no start deal may happen any time after June 1st

There was an update for this on Windows Update the other day that I installed. It should work just fine. Of course, my system is not that old either. It was just built last year.

One of those files is to CHECK your system to see if it is Venerable. I ain't got that far yet .

I've had about 2 Win updates in the past 2-3 months but I'm not sure if they had anything to do with this. I'll have to check.

The update: KB5077181 had an update in it to do with that, here is a quote:
