I was playin around the other day in WHM/cpanel with pear modules. I was really in their tryin to understand why WuB has problems sending out newsletters. When viewing all the modules, there was one there for sendmail which included all the default php mail. So I installed it in WHM and in cpanel for WuB. I have not noticed any difference at all. Is there something else that needs to be done like restart apache or something. :dontknow

I'm not sure. Afaik, your don't need pear to send mail or notifications. I haven't tried to do this with 2.1 yet so I could be wrong.

To restart apache (if you need to) go to Restart Services -> HTTP Server (Apache). Alternatively, you can do it via SSH...

I'll check things out once more and read a bit more about it before I restart.

Well, I got no further on this. I did remove all php 5.x from the server and put 7.2 on. Also did a few other things to it. Things are lookin good. :)

I removed all 5.x versions awhile back and just recently removed 7.0 because it has reached EOL. Everyone on the server is now at 7.1. But I do have 7.2 and 7.3 installed to be ready if someone needs it.

I did the same yesterday. All that is on this server is 7.1 and above.

I still haven't gotten newsletters to work but I think there is a bug about this on GH so marking this solved for now.
