For creating themes for SMF, I started using Github to store files, use version control, etc. and VSCode for coding it and to keep things up-to-date. However, they are Microsoft products with all of the telemetry, data mining, etc. that go along with it.  :dontknow

So, I've found better options, which is actually a fork of Github without the telemetry, etc.  ;D

It has a lot similar extensions as well.

For my coding, there's VSCodium:

Did you look at gitlab.com ?
You can sign up for free also host your own environment.

Yes, I looked at it but it's all AI. I'd rather use something without it. Besides, I don't want to host it, I have too much on my plate as it is. LOL

The free option has no AI, you need to buy the paid one to use it  ;D
