The team over at Tiny Portal has been working hard squashing bugs and fixin things up on their portal mod. They also have a version out that works great with SMF 2.1 A lot of updates have went into this tiny mod. Some of the fixes for the new version (1.6.3) that runs with 2.1 are:

- fixed the user block not showing the login fields to guests
- fixed list styles in HTML articles not showing bullits
- fixed bottom margin for blocks and frontpage articles

There are alot more fixes. The ones listed here are just a few of the changes that are relavent to 2.1 A lot more work has went into it for sure. If your wanting to check it out, please do:

I've been so busy with the server and themes I haven't been over there lately. Yes, they do keep the updates coming. :)

Bigguy

Certainly do. They work hard over there on TP.

There is another beta out for Tiny Portal. Anyone running an old version should update. The new version is TP 164 08-30. News about what was fixed can be found at Tiny Portal if you have beta access.

Think that one has a problem with hooks, I wouldn't recommend using it yet otherwise you might have isues.

Bigguy

Thanks for pointing that out. I was not sure if those had been squashed yet.

The beta package posted at the beginning of the topic is usually the one we're currently discussing in the beta thread.  It will be replaced at certain stages, but that is usually pointed out during the discussions when that happens.

I would seriously stay put on the version you're running until we resolve these issues.  ;)
